FIFTH WINBURY OLD BOYS REUNION- HELD ON SEPTEMBER 8TH 2018

AT THE FISHING LODGE, SHEEPHOUSE FARM, MAIDENHEAD

Introduction by Mike Caridia

Photographs by Mike Spicer and Lindsay Morris

Well, here we are again for this our fifth reunion. Who'd have thought this Old Boys and Girls meeting would become so popular. It's thanks in the main to Mike Chapman, Mike Crees and Mike Spicer with the generosity of Peter Prior in lending us the Fishing Lodge. that this event has been able to continue. Much enjoyment was had by all and a number of newcomers to the ocassion; old boys from a later age, joined us for the first time. The day was pleasant, if a little cool, but nobody worried as theradiated warmth of the get together was excellent as usual.

A wonderful meal was served by Linse Morris and Mike Crees and there was no shrtage of food or drink throughout the reunion. It was a great opportunity for everyone to catch up on what each has been doing and to take a moment to rmember those old boys who have passed on.

At the end, as is now traditional, a toast was raised by Miker Chapman to the man who made all this possible - John Spicer, Headmaster and Mentor who led Winbury School for so many years and who gave a brilliant start in life tomany hundreds of boys who passed through the school. It is to his credit that we get together for these reunions to remember how much we owe him.

Let's hope we will be back together again soon for our 6th reunion.
